Frequently Asked Questions

Where is your office?

1776 S Jackson Street, Suite 412, Denver, CO 80210. Telehealth is available for clients anywhere in Colorado.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. Secure video sessions are available for adults located in Colorado.

Who do you work with?

Adults 18 and older and couples, through individual and couples therapy. I specialize in trauma, addiction recovery, and LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent-affirming care.

Do you take insurance?

Yes. I see clients with Health First Colorado (Medicaid) in every regional plan, including Colorado Access, and I'm in network with Kaiser Permanente, UnitedHealthcare, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health and Select Health. See Insurance & Fees.

How much does therapy cost without insurance?

Individual sessions are $120 and couples sessions are $150, each 60 minutes.

How do I get started?

Request a free 15-minute phone consultation and I'll reach out to schedule it, or book a session online through Headway if you're using Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, Carelon or Select Health, or paying yourself. Using Medicaid, Kaiser or UnitedHealthcare? Start with a consultation. You can also call (720) 675-9554.

What happens in the first session?

We'll talk about what brings you in, your history and your goals, and decide together how to approach therapy. It's also a chance to see whether we're a good fit.

What is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories. I'm EMDR-trained and offer it within individual sessions. Learn more on the Trauma & EMDR page.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

How often are sessions?

Most clients start weekly or every other week. We'll adjust as your needs change.

Can Pranic Healing be part of therapy?

It can be, if you choose. Pranic Healing is a gentle, no-touch energy practice you can add to therapy or have on its own. It's a complementary practice, not psychotherapy, and isn't billed to insurance.

Is this a crisis service?

No. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 or call Colorado Crisis Services at 1-844-493-8255, available 24/7.
