How sessions work

Each 60-minute session uses an integrative, trauma-informed approach that draws on evidence-based therapies, including ACT, CBT and DBT, along with neuroscience-informed practices to help your nervous system feel steady and safe. We'll also build practical skills you can use between sessions. I'm EMDR-trained and can offer EMDR within individual sessions when it's a good fit.

Questions about individual therapy

What if I'm not sure what I need?

That's completely okay. In our first session we'll talk about what brings you in and decide together where to focus.

Can I use insurance?

Yes. I see clients with Medicaid and I'm in network with Kaiser, Cigna, Aetna, Anthem and more. Self-pay is $120 per session.
